Tsai-mo Art in the New Century

　　Welcoming the arrival of the new mellennium, FITMA has specifically organized the exhibition 'Beyond the Century: International Tsai-mo Art' at the Taichung Municipal Cultural Center in Taiwan. 66 accomplished artists from 24 countries around the world have been invited to take part in this exhibition, in which over 100 pieces of art work are presented to demonstrate the exploration of new trends in both Eastern and Western art world. FITMA believes that the Oriental 'Tsai- mo Art' can eventually generate a new cultural perspective in the 21st century.

　 　The art movement of Tsai-mo originated from the Asian countries, is spreading on the Western art scene.
　 　The art form of Tsai-mo, which evolves from Oriental aesthetics, shows respect for the characteristics of different peoples. The Tsai-mo art encompasses a massive range of forms and techniques, it also values all sorts of experimental and innovative expressions.
//Tsai-mo art of this kind is made up of: Oriental aesthetics, mixed media, cultural practices and personal styles.
　　Tsai-mo art does not constrained by any particular medium, it aims at a widespread acceptance such as Kungfu, zen and tea.
　 　The creativity of Tsai-mo art is unrestricted, openended, unconventional and multifarious.
　　 A booklet and a compact disc are produced on the occasion for this international Tsai-mo art exhibition. At the same time, there is also an exhibition of Tsai-mo art on the Internet as a celebration for the new millennium.
